1XBET Ehub bootcamp, hackathon concludes with remarkable success.

The 1XBET bootcamp took place in Yaounde from November 25-28 while the hackathon phase on its part ran from November 29-30. Both activities brought together 40 entrepreneurs.

It is worth mentioning that these 40 entrepreneurs were retained after a rigorous assessment and selection process from no fewer than 395 applications deposited.

The 1XBET Ehub bootcamp, experts revealed, was a specialised intensive training program, which constitutes the second phase of the 1XBET EHub project.

During the bootcamp, we gathered, the 40 entrepreneurs benefitted from intensive and high-quality training to develop their skills and boost their chances of sailing to the next decisive phase. 

It culminated with a pitch desk where candidates presented their projects before a panel of experts.

The bootcamp helped the entrepreneurs to develop and strengthen their skills in areas such as; branding and marketing, business model development and pitch preparation.

At the end of the bootcamp project, some 19 entrepreneurs drawn in five groups were selected. According to organisers, they were selected on the basis of several criteria including relevance of the problem, conviction, design, impact of the solution.

The 19 entrepreneurs retained are divided in four groups of five candidates each. Only four were retained in the category. Unlike agriculture, innovative technology, and education, only four were selected in the category of climate.

The entrepreneurs selected at the end of the 1XBET Ehub will pitch their projects before a panel of highly qualified judges and specialists from December 18-21. 

It shall be broadcasted live on several television platforms and online as from December 26. Viewers will also have the possibility to vote. The three best from the score of projects will win financial prizes and development opportunities.

Revisiting hackathon  

The recent hackathon organised by 1xBet EHub served as a catalyst for innovative ideas where participants expressed their creativity. Five groups took part in the innovation contest. 

It offered a unique platform for exploring individual skills, software design and innovative methodologies, while creating a stimulating and collaborative working environment.

The hackathon kicked-off with a discussion to enable the organisers to discover the varied skills of the participants. These discussions shaped the composition of the five groups, ensuring a diversity of talents and perspectives within each team.

Innovation was at the heart of the hackathon, with an in-depth exploration of modern design methodologies. The hackathon put participants' creativity to the test. 

The collaborative working conditions encouraged the sharing of ideas, teamwork and the creative resolution of challenges which created an environment conducive to innovation.

The availability of experienced consultants added a strategic dimension to the hackathon. These experts guided the teams through the technical challenges, offering invaluable advice on refining their ideas and maximising their impact.

At the end of the hackathon, three groups stood out. They will be rewarded alongside the successful candidates of the 1XBET Ehub project.
