At 22nd anniversary celebration: Communication minister says The Guardian Post best newspaper in Cameroon.

The Minister of Communication and Government Spokesperson, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, has said The Guardian Post is Cameroon’s best newspaper. The minister made the assessment Friday November 24 in Yaounde.

This was during a splendid ceremony to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of The Guardian Post.

 Speaking at the event, the member of government saluted the towering influence and professionalism of The Guardian Post in Cameroon’s media landscape. He encouraged The Guardian Post’s Publisher/ Editor-In-Chief, Ngah Christian Mbipgo and his staff to maintain the steam for the good of society and the nation.

He remarked that: “I also want to express all my consideration to The Guardian Post newspaper and to say that I am sure The Guardian Post is certainly the best newspaper in Cameroon. We see that every time we examine all the demands for media aid. If you examine the minutes, you will see that The Guardian Post is always at the top. The Guardian Post is always the first or the second. This means that they respond to all the criteria”.

Minister Sadi expressed delight that, despite the challenges that abound, The Guardian Post has remained strong, resilient and professional. He used the platform to rally the media family to stay resilient, promising to lobby for an increase in government subvention to the private media in the country.
