40 entrepreneurs selected for 1XBET EHub bootcamp.

The process which recorded significant success wrapped up last week. It was revealed that no fewer than 395 applications were received during the pre-selection phase which ran from October 6 to November 6.

Candidates were invited to submit their projects in one of four categories including climate, education, innovative technology and agriculture. 

After a rigorous assessment and selection process, 40 entrepreneurs were shortlisted to take part in the bootcamp. 

The bootcamp, a specialised intensive training program, which constitutes the second phase of the 1XBET EHub project, will run from November 20 to 23. 

The three-day exercise shall take place at Mountain Hub situated in Efoulan, Yaoundé III Subdivision.

During the bootcamp, the said 40 entrepreneurs will benefit from intensive and high-quality training to develop their skills and boost their chances of success from experts.

It will also develop and strengthen the skills of the entrepreneurs who made the cut in areas such as; branding and marketing, business model development and pitch preparation.

At the end of the bootcamp, only 20 entrepreneurs will be selected to pitch their projects before a panel of highly qualified judges and specialists.

The three best from the score of projects will win financial prizes and development opportunities. The 1XBET EHub bootcamp shall be followed by a hackathon. It is scheduled to take place from November 24 to 25.

All is set for the 1XBET EHub bootcamp 

“We hope that young Cameroonians with innovative projects and lacking financial resources and mentorship will benefit from this project. Together, we can build a more prosperous and innovative Cameroon, turning dreams into tangible realities,” Kouadjo said.

Through the 1XBET EHub, Cameroonians of all walks of life shall be able to showcase their innovative projects in order to benefit from both financial and technical support.

This initiative aims to revolutionize entrepreneurship in Cameroon across various domains.

The laudable initiative will permit young start-ups having innovative ideas in the fields of agri-tech, sports tech, innovation and technology, and climate change to show their savoir faire and change the world with their innovative ideas.  

It is worth mentioning that the best three in each category like agriculture, education, technology and innovation as well as climate shall be rewarded.

A 50 million FCFA cash prize shall be shared among the various winners. Apart from the cash prize, there various winners shall also benefit from a 6-months incubation period.

They shall also bag home some gadgets and prizes like Microsoft certification and others certifications that young entrepreneurs need in order to make their dreams come true.

In the last few years, the country’s young and dynamic population has increasingly been attracted to entrepreneurship. 

However, Cameroonian entrepreneurs still face many difficulties, particularly in terms of financing, training and mentoring.

The 1XBET Ehub initiative is thus coming to change the narrative for these young entrepreneurs by helping them to create a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem that is conducive to the emergence of successful entrepreneurs.
