CPDM Senator, Dr Anja Simon Ngwo, dies.

The death has been reported of Senator Dr Anja Simon Ngwo. 

The three term senator is reported to have breathed his last in Turkiye Tuesday November 7. 

The politician and traditional ruler is said to have been ferried to the foreign country for medical attention.

The deceased was the traditional ruler of Bantakpa village in Akwaya, Manyu Division of the South West Region. 

Dr Anja had been in the Senate since 2013. He was appointed for a third mandate on Friday March 31, this year by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya.

 The deceased was the First Secretary of the National Defense and Security Committee. Dr Anjia is said to have retired while lecturing at the Higher Teachers Training College, ENS Bambili.

The staunch supporter of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM, was among the living forces who fought for the disenclavement of Akwaya Subdivision. 

The death of the traditional ruler adds to others who have quit the senate in recent times. His funeral program is yet to be made public.
