Talented MC and host, Charlene Ebge popularly known by stage name. Mc Charlene has emerged Best MC/Host at the just ended Musikol Music Awards, MUMA 2020.
She won the Best MC/Host at the Musikol Music Awards, MUMA 2020, after beating the likes of Vicky Fokala.
The award for the talented Cameroonian-Norwegian-based MC, was handed at a grand ceremony that held in Douala in the presence of some of the country’s top entertainers and featured soul drenching musical acts.
To the MC, her winning of the award is proof that resilience and hardwork are the much-needed ingredients to move to the top of one’s field.
She noted that the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic changed the narrative for most people in the entertainment industry, as plans were disrupted and shows and events canceled. “The entertainment industry was among the worst hit by the pandemic. But I held on to my ground as I used the opportunity afforded by the lockdown to re-strategize and re-plan” she said.
The MC went on to detail her journey, revealing that impaired by the pandemic and lockdown, she created her own very Instagram live show named Chit-Chat with Mc Charlene. She has since hosted several top entertainers in Africa on the platform as well as virtual shows in general.
The dedicated and talented Mc who is also an entrepreneur and a social worker added that she has set out plans for her future in the entertainment industry, promising her fans more.
MC Charlene it should be recalled has over the past months hosted events on some of the biggest stages in Europe, US, Africa and Asia. The delectable MC it should be said,was voted winner of the Scandinavia Africa Music Award, SAMA in 2019 and has also bagged various nominations across Europe and Africa.
The Muzikol Music Award is designed not just for artists, but is also an avenue to recognize the talented professionals who work behind the scenes, making music alongside artists. MUMA, organisers noted, was developed to give the Cameroonian and Africa entertainment industry hope and reclaim African awards for well deserved African artists.
